soviet general visor cap - cord instead the embroidered leather chin

Opinion needed:

Was this mix possible: general visor cap with a cord (normal buttons (star) to attach the cord instead of buttons with the USSR coat of the arms) instead the embroidered leather chin.

I had that situation on a MSU cap, it was annoying and I finally sold the cap at bargain price.
