Anyone know what make/vintage this jacket is?? I was told that it was possibly WWII Russian but it is unfamiliar to me.

Thanks,

Re: Mystery Jacket

No markings at all. It's made of a canvas type material (outer).

Re: Mystery Jacket

it looks quite similar to a NATO uniform many country's used in the late 60's till 80's .

the only major difference is that this NATO uniform was of dark green material and it had angled breast pockets.

but than again ,, the uniform jacket you show as the very familiar shoulder board attachment things of soviet block type.

Re: Mystery Jacket

Maybe it is genuine just not widely used by the USSR/WP?

Re: Mystery Jacket

me neither ,, i don't see signs of medal or badge wear to (so it could mean it was never in use) or it could be a sign of some thing els.

i do find the hid away Button's weird , i have never seen this in soviet use.
the draw string is some thing witch is really NATO.

i find the coller too very European army like.

i would like to see better pictures of the shoulder board attachment things.
and also of the Button's that are on it ,, NATO used very particular buttons.
