Hello all - As requested by a fellow collector and member of this forum, I have started a new thread on some DDR IDs I have in my collection.

As this thread progresses, I would be very interested in seeing other members DDR IDs and reading what others say.

I am starting this thread off with a late unissued Ministry of Internal Affairs ID (Ministerium für Innere Angelegenheiten) in its original plastic case/holder.

Hello all - next up for East German IDs is an unissued ID that allowed the user into restricted sites.

Hello all - up next is a very early and rare version driver license. The owner of this drive license used this licence since 1951. The HVA was the "HauptVerwaltung fur Ausbildung" = The Main Directorate for training/education. Later in 1952, this became the Kasernierte VolksPolizei. This driver license could only be used with other official duty permits.
