Re: Military Booklet.
The war saw him move positions again. This time as a senior operative of SMERSH of the 8th Guards Army (62nd Army) in Stalingrad. An NKVD/Chekist active in the city from September 1942, he found 6 spies.
His Medal "For Bravery" for action in Stalingrad was signed off for by Chujikov himself.

Here is a 23rd July 1936 Military Booklet to Ivan Vasil'evich Burykin. Born in 1914 and called to Podol'sk Regional Military Commissariat. The booklet is very sparse with additional information, other than he was in the local Aero-Club.
Burykin was a Junior Lieutenant in the 601st Artillery Regiment when he was captured on 27th July 1941. He subsequently escaped German captivity and was rehabilitated enough to join the 202nd Reserve Rifle Regiment as a Junior Lieutenant on 20th August 1944.
