Help with Soviet uniform size, please

Hi gentlemen,

I´m interested in a dembel BG jacket sized 46-48. Which is the western equivalent for this size and what do the numbers mean?

46-48 is a european/russian size that roughly translates to a U.S. 36-38, small.

If you theoretically would need a U.S. 46-48 it would mean a european/russian 58-60 (XXL).
