Star cockade of General 1940

Gentleman of the forum, I have use of nice digital camera in some weeks and have made photos of cap cockardes that I show here. It is interesting a theme of unusual generals cap badges of the type 1940r in a lot of part. It is usual to see cockardes of one part only

Very nice cockades! And the hats they are attached to aren't too bad either :)

Yes, the multi-part style is rare; i have only ever had in 3 or 4 from what I can remember. They seem to have used them from 1940 until the war started and then go over to the easier single-part we are more used to seeing.

Hello,

I finally took some time to attempt a couple close-ups of a one piece general's cap badge. Not the best pictures at all but kind of shows the difference.

As I learn how to use my digital camera more effectively I will post better quality pictures of this. I have a few generals visors and this is my only example with a one piece badge.
