Hi,
this VokhR cap is currently offered. What do you think about it? Are there any fakes of these?

From what I know these are not faked and this one looks like correct VOKhR cap from 80's. However, the symbol on the button seems to be domething else than the crossed rifles (can't say for sure from this photo), so there's a chnce that this cap was actually e.g. forester's cap with badge changed. I also don't recognise the maker's label, which may also point to forestry (they had their own factories while VOKhR caps were usually made by the same factories as the army caps). But on the other hand I am sure there are a lot of army caps factory labels I don't recognise.

Good catch on it being a forester's hat. That was my first impression too. The small label on the inside looks like the one in a forestry cap that I have. The buttons are a giveaway too, as you said.

I'd trade out the cockade and you have yourself a cap that's a bit tougher to find!
