Guys,
I liked it and bought it. It was cheap and looks nice. What is it? Is it authentic? Thanks! Rusty. What are the hooks for in the fourth pic?

The pics are a bit dark, but it--looks like a 1950's service tunic, but the boards look like field boards (artillery). The one stamp shows the date, but it is hard to make out.
I believe that the hooks are to support a belt. Cheap is always good--nice pickup. |

So these boards do not go with the tunic?
Which boards can I use? Can someone PM a link to eBay auction or a place where I can purchase the proper boards? Thanks! Rusty.

tunic
Its a 1950's everyday service tunic; i would not take the boards off, I have an odd feeling they mixed and matched the tunics and boards and these are fine. Probably the original seller tried selling it as WWII (note the rubbing on the stamp right were the date would be, but not on the rest of the stamp). For the price though you got a great deal.

Doug,
Thanks! It was sold as a WWII style 1950's tunic. I think I can make out 1953 or 1955. I'll keep the boards as is then. Thanks again. Rusty.
