I bought this coat for 17 $ on a Swedish site.
The seller didn't know what it was and i think it is a naval coat but the shoulder boards is a bit strange. Do someone know what it is? It is very heavy like 8 Kg or something. The textile is thick not like some overcoats. have the shoulder boards been replaced?

yes, it looks like the boards are replaced; but they are justice officer, colonel, which did serve in the navy. Might be ok, might just have been the boards they had around.

Btw? If you bought it off the site, how could you get it for $ 17 when the price at the site is more like $250? |

I bought it by a private person on a swedish site and the price on the site is yust beacuse I dont want to sell it, if they pay 200$ I can sell it but it is not worth the money. I could put a not for sale but it looks so boring.

Heavy Coat
The coat depicted at the top of this thread is for a Justice branch colonel (the silver braid is for officers not in line for command). The epaulets look like they are in nice condition, and look to be of the 50's to 60s era.

The boards could be 1947 to the late 50s BUT only the boards and justice insignia are original. The stars are post 1970 add ons.
