Does anybody know what badge this is? Sorry if I placed it in the wrong department...

It is a Type 1 (Suspension) Badge "For Merits In Standardisation" awarded by the State Standardisation Department. There was also a later pinback Badge variation.

Standardisation is exceptionally important with mass production. If the items won't fit together, game over!

All bolts 8mm thick and all doors 3'x7' etc etc.
