Russian / Soviet Dagger Identification

Greetings,

I am trying to identify this dagger. The only markings on the blade is 00938, a felt bumper bad and twin blood grooves. In ++/VF condition. Would also like to known a $$$ range on it as well.

The crest looks east german.

It is DDR.

Mark--no big deal. Happens to the best of us. Nice dagger though. I have no idea what it's worth, but it looks cool to me.

The dagger is a DDR army generals dress dagger. Might be original, or a parts dagger. -DD
