Airborne Service uniform
I just received this airborne service uniform and love it. The beret is an unissued, complete with paper tag with manufacter and depot information still attached. The buttons are all dated stamped with the number 72, along with some other word.

I can post some pic of the tag from the beret, if someone could relay some information on it. I really love the set. It has heavy use, with even a pinch full of tobacco in the inside pocket. There are two belt hooks on the tunic as well. What type of belt was worn with this? Also, did the airborne have a special type of trouser that would be worn with this tunic? |

The production year is usually marked with an 'r' (Russian G) in the same beret or in the tag. The last two digits of the year (i.e if the beret was made in 1988, it will say '88r' somewhere).
