Prototype Specialist Badge

Found this today whilst perusing a book (remember them?). I'd seen most of the badges in the book but this one.
From the description I'd call it a military signalman's badge.

Anybody got one to show?

I have several ones that incorporate that basic theme, from military to MVD, but not that one specifically. I think you are correct about it being for signals or even a radio operator.

As for books - they can't be beat for perusing before going to sleep (even a laptop doesn't have that "feel" of a good reference book).:thumbsup

Never saw this badge. Maybe it is a prototype and never issued in a larger quantity.
