Here is a flag that just came in; 'OMSBON' was wartime Spentsnaz, assigned to special ops and behind the lines ops (see Sharp VIII; though he claims that 'OMSBON' was not in Regt size, but this flag shows he was mistaken).

This OMSBON Regiment was part of the NKVD Frontier Troops; they were raised in 1944. This is the 131st OMSBON NKVD Frontier Regiment.

This is the units M1942 unit flag issued in 1944.
