Lenin Group

Hello,

what do you think about this group? I think the awards are okay.

Is the group put together?

best regards and thanks
Andreas

ok, so all awards were given before April 23, 1943? Wow, what did this guy do that was so impressive?

Also, is the upper date actually, April 1, 1943?

I'd bet the three last awards have been added. But I havent' my Kutsenko on hand to check the s/n... You should post the picture of the red star reverse, I believe the s/n has been polished the re-engraved.

I don't like the serial number. Charlet might be right.

Good serial number

I believe the serial number is correct according to the photos I have provided of numbers within this range.

Notice the 1's and 3's are very similar if not identical.

As for the other items, yes, I stand by the original assessment. Either this is a fake group or the guy ran the whole factory all by himself.

Also according to Paul's book, "Echos of War", the Order of Lenin would have been given between 1960-64.

I believe the group (and the RS) to be good. A WWII award with later civilian awards added. The '43 date in the middle of the page was the initial privilieges authorization date for the RS, NOT the date the booklet was filled out.
