National Flag Order II and III
Hello gentlemen,
I got two new north korean pieces, courtesy of my girlfriend. I´d like to compare the the recent NF III with the first one I got (left and right, respectively). The latter is worn (So I suppose earlier), while the one on the left is almost mint (later). It has some kind of dirt on enamel, brighter than the blood red enamel of the right. The early type is three piece construction (star, roundel and body.), shown in the last picture. Note the reverses: Early type has a mirror reverse and no space for serial number. The earlier, however, shows a more solid reverse, no rays, and a small line and a "L" next to the small line to denote serial number inscription. Now, here comes the question: Which period are these types?

Re: National Flag Order II and III
NF II class, with a very nice finish. Note the 4-piece construction. As well as the III class that came with it, it´s a mirror reverse variation and has no serial number, nor the line to engrave it.

Re: Order Of The National Flag 2nd Class Construction
That's pretty cool! But you should add a disclaimer: "Kids, please don't try this at home." ;)

Re: DPRK Award Documents.
Is there a date for this award? Have you tried to research him through the Soviet archives?

Re: Order Of The National Flag 2nd Class.
This is my Order of the Nationa Flag 2nd class document.
This is awarded to 뿌리만첸꼬 그.느, 'Purimanchenko G.N'(Or Pulimanchenko). He is Soviet colonel, he is Weapon skill adviser of Korean people's army. Order number is 2482, awarded in 28.2.1952, booklet issued on March.1. I guess this is from warren sessler. Anyone have any information about this colonel? Re: Order Of The National Flag 2nd Class.
That'll be "Pol" (Colonel) Manchenko G. N., Unfortunately no additional information can be found on this recipient. No G.N. on Podvignaroda and too common a name for google.

Re: Order Of The National Flag Guide.
Here is the third type made from copper-nickel with the horizontal pinback. Numbered in the 10600-10650 range.
