Medal "Laureate Of The Exhibition Of Achievements Of The National Economy".

BDHX laureat medal - Golden variation. Now I am almost 100% convinced that this "Laureat" medals REPLACED previous medals of BDHX, and that they come in 3 classes:

First class - medal is Gold in color, Red ribbon;
Second class - Medal is Silver in color, Blue ribbon; (see posts 14 and 15)
Third class - Medal is bronze in color, Green ribbon.

HOWEVER, Until today I did not know about the red ribbon gold medal, and I never saw the third class medal, but I believe it is "Out there".

I have one of these gold Laureate medals. On the other hand, I have never seen what you call "Third Class" nor heard of one. I think the VDNKh Laureate medals were the continuation of the VSKhV medals, and therefore could only exist in 2 classes.

I ASSUMED there are 3 classes, and the ribbon colors suggest this - like many sport medals - red for 1st place, blue for 2nd, green for 3rd.

However, ia am sorry that you only have one medal.... ;)

That's strange - the first time I saw a medal like this was this week. One of the forum's most expert moderaors never saw such medal either.

I have had mine for a few years already. I believe these are genuine; workmanship is really up to par, at least on mine.
