Here is a long service spanning group to Colonel Dimit'r Stojnev Stojkov. A Colonel who travelled internationally within the Warsaw Pact nations.

Stojkov's Medal "For Military Merit" and Order "Red Banner" were probably long service awards.

Stojkov's Order "People's Liberty" is a rather strange award although it could have been for 20 years service as he wasn't awarded any long service medals.

Stojkov's Soviet Medal was probably awarded for cooperation with the Red Army as he did not serve during the Patriotic War.

Stojkov's Order ''For Military Valour And Merit'' 1st Class will have been awarded for actual merit rather than a "Birthday" award.

Stojkov was a Party member from 46-90.

Do you have any more information about the circumstances under which this medal was presented? Can you make out the number on the stamp? Is it 11607 or 11667? 11607. Fortunately I had this document close at hand because the scan isn't too clear but nor is the document for that matter.
