Comprehensive Guide to Orders & Medals Documents ?

Hi all Forum Members,

Searching in this Forum, I did not find any reference to what we could call a "Comprehensive Guide to Orders & Medals Documents", ie. an exhaustive book dedicated to Order Booklets (Ordenskaya Knizhka), Medal Booklets (Udosteverenie K Medali), and other Awards paper documents.

The best section dedicated to these seems still to be the pics and captions of PMD's book... Good, but not exhaustive enough in my mind...

Do you know, can you suggest or recommend, a good book / guide on this subject ?

Any help appreciated. Thanks.

I am not aware of any book that deals with the documents only.

The best source for the award documents I know is Mondvor web site. If you can read Russian - they've done excellent job on describing verious types of documents.

There are tons of picture examples as well...

Many thanks for your so much appreciated input.

I agree with your comment : even if I don't speak Russian, it is evident to me that the content of the Mondvor site is "first class" !! But, not as easy to consult as a real book.

If, by chance, you are lucky enough to discover an exhaustive and new book on this subject, please let us know.
