Re: Victory in the Patriotic War Medal/"Russian Convoy Medal" - ribbon colour symboli
Orange and black are colors of the St. George ribbon, symbolising fire and smoke on the battle field; red is the color of the Soviet banner; green is the symbol of survival (I think, need to double check this one).
