The Belorussians have taken the art of badge design and construction from the Soviets and kepts marching onward with it (IMHO).

Below is what I see as the logical progression of USSR MVD badges to the relatively new (1996-2006) Belorus badge. However, my translation keeps coming back to the same thing - "promptly call on the services of the Minsk Police" which seems more like an advisory rather than something on a 10th anniversary badge for the Main Department of Internal Affairs (ГУВД).
