A most recently aquired group, alas, incompleate - most of the documents were sold elsewere.
But anyway, I ended up with 2 of his PZPR booklets, a country-wide conference mandate and almost compleate set of awards (with only the Commander's Cross of the Polonia Restituta Order missing.


Włodzimierz Janiurek, born in Chorzów in 1924, was a journalist and writer. He worked for a long time in the "Trubuna Robotnicza" ("Workers' Tribune") newspaper and was even the chief editor of it. He was a member of the pairlament of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th cadentions (1957-1969).
In 1966 he became an ambasador of the PRP in Prague, later (1980-1981) he was also na ambasador in Mexico City.
From 1971 to 1980 he was a member of the Council of Ministers holding the post of government spokesman - he was the first person in polish history to hold it.
He died in 2011.
