Advertising in the forum effective Jan. 1, 2007

Effective January 1, 2007, Google Adsense advertising will be displayed within the forum. There will be 3 ad units per page, one such unit is shown below. These ads are not "Viagra" or "Get rich quick" junk. I've had these ads incorporated into the main website, and within the forum (visible to guests only) and they are very relevant to our interests.

The revenue obtained from the advertising will be used to offset webserver fee increases.

The advertising WILL NOT be visible to those who have donated to the forum, nor will it be visible to moderators. If you are interested in donating to the forum, please read the FAQ. In addition to your donation allowing you to browse "ad free" you will be able to sell your items, or post "want" ads in the forum markeplace. You can read more about the marketplace here.

Finally, please understand the following:
THESE ARE PAID ADS. THESE ARE TARGETTED ADS. This means you will see militaria related ads here, specifically dealers of militaria. THIS DOESN'T MEAN IT'S NOW ACCEPTABLE TO POST THE FAMOUS "NYC Dealer" or "NJ Dealer" or any dealer or commercial website names or website addresses within the forum.
