Mozzabloke Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2002 Location: Sheffield, England Age: 49 Posts: 104	'Inside the Soviet Army' by Carey Schofield 'Inside the Soviet Army' by Carey Schofield I was lent this book by my father in law, its a really in depth account of life in all of the Soviet armed forces just before the end of the soviet era. The writer was given a lot of freedom to talk to soldiers and travel around Russia talking to all the various ranks. There are some fantastic pictures in it and it is well worth the £20 it sells for. I know its not strictly a reference book, although it does a have a small but good section of photos of all the uniforms, patches and badges used in the forces. Highly recomended!
