Border Guards Medal "fuer vordbildlichen Grenzdienst" awarded to him as feldwebel on 7 October 1967 and the "Verdienstmedaille der Grenztruppen" awarded in bronze to him as major on 7 October 1986. Both documents have facsimile signature of MfS Minister Mielke.

Desantnik - Sorry for not seeing your new thread earlier...very nice documents you have added to your collection. I may have found some information that may assist what rolf krüger did for a living. This person may have worked at the District of Potsdam at the office of Neuen. His location in Potdam may have been a reason why he earned the two Grenz award documents.
