Here is a different variation of the most recent type.
Unlike other variations it is silvered rather than subdued, it has a very convex relief and is only 3/4 the thickness of the other variations. Extremely noticeable when in the company of the other variations.

Here is the first type of Military Merit Medal.

I've obtained this type(Copy?). The right side medal which without ribbon is that.

It looks like Soviet-made on the left side. But differences are :

1. Not a 925 silver or even a silver-plated.
2. Very tiny details like ring attach part are different.
3. Some sort of molded line on all around of coin. (Photo)
4. Slightly smaller than Soviet-made. Back letters are also little bit thinner.

But other details like face or other parts are so good. Even a small details of font are exactly same.

I have no Idea what is this. I wonder if it is high quality copy. But It has old blue rust and also had rusted ring part which is removed now, and I've never seen or heard about that quality of Military Merit Medal reproduction, so that makes me very confusing. Anyone have an idea what is this?

It seems to be a cast copy. As for who made it? That really could be anyone.

Strange that such a common Medal would be faked, but everything is faked I suppose.
