One point about the blue cap. Am I the only one who noticed that the gold embroidery on the band is of Army general's pattern, without the extra wreath-like embroidery surrounding the cockade, which is a special feature found ONLY on Soviet Air Force general's parade caps? Factory error, perhaps, which could explain the fact that no wings were ever added.

I'd think this cap is not genuine, or not soviet; it was beautifully made after 1992. Missing is the pic of interior...

its a copy...

note the repro cap device...poor construction (gives it that crushed look)...and the liner is a dead giveaway too, fake material, wrong cut, etc. anyone who has seen or had a real one would not be fooled. This one has been making the rounds for awhile.
