Its a step up from MZPP red stars!

Glories would be quite difficult to engrave, if you make one number too big, you'll run out of space very quickly!

It happens more easily than most imagine.

Also a rotating tool can be very difficult to control. Many times I practised engraving brass plaques for coffins before being able to put tool to fresh piece of brass.

I wonder how many awards were defaced by a poor job and then smelted.

Interesting question! Does anybody know persons who were engravers? Is there a forum section which covers this?

I would appreciate any opinion about this Slava-2, which I assumed original but was not able to properly classify it by Mondvor "encyclopedia". Despite of heavy wear it suffered, the double window is still visible.
