Hello,

what do you think about this 40th anniversary of the October Revolution badge?
The letters of the Moscow mint mark (MMD) on the reverse looks disturbed.
So I don´t like it.
Any opinions, by the way it is a rare badge ? I have not seen many of these.

I really enjoy this relatively common badge commemorating the 40th anniversary of the Bolshevik Revolution. Great Socialist Realist design and it's one of the badges featured on the cover of Avers 8. It's silverplated brass, so the brass shows through after a little wear.

Not sure if this one is a manufacturing variety--this one has a golden appearance. Possible that it was lacquered by the recipient..?
