question about shashka

:) :) hello all
i live China mainland and i am so glad to meet so many Soviet military fans here. i like shashka very much and keep some .

i have some question about shashka :

1. what is the background of the M1881 shashka ;

2.what is diffrences between dragoon shashka and cossack shashka

3. what is diffrences between silver color M1927 and brass color shashka


appreciateing for any infomation and details.

Holy Moley!

A nice but nothing special 1939 shashka just closed on ebay at $2000.
Anybody working on that time machine?

There is many differences between dragoon and cossack shashka: the blade is thickest on the cossack, no guard on the cossack(the head of like a bird beak) etc...
