Re: October Revolution.
What would be a reasonable price for one with a document, in your opinion please?
How about one without a document? Thank You for taking your time to share your expertise. :thumbsup

Re: October Revolution.
I dunno, $575 isn't through the roof, IMO. Maybe a bit high but not crazy.
What's the serial number range? IMO the basic, average OR is about $400+ in late 2012.

Hi Eric
I am waiting on the pics, I thought it might be higher because it comes with documentation. There is another seller offering one without documentation for $400 and another one at $460. The pics have arrived.

Re: October Revolution.
Very high number. Shishkov shows 95,9xx awarded in (or around) 1990 for what that's worth.

Re: October Revolution.
What about number 64,434? When do you think that one would have been awarded? Guessing

Shishkov has been published quite a few years ago. More up-to-date information indicates 111289 as highest known, and 106462 awards as of 1/1/1995. Marc Quote:
OOR 52278 was awarded on February 14, 1975 53040 on August 30, 1977 54759 on September 3, 1971 58417 on February 14, 1980 61003 on December 12, 1973 64073 on December 8, 1973 65710 on December 10, 1973 69416 on December 11, 1973 72176 on March 25, 1974 78002 on December 27, 1976 78805 on March 29, 1976 As you can see, the award dates were not in strict order, so it is somewhat difficult to extrapolate things. Re: October Revolution.
Interesting piece . . . the OOR itself looks pretty good, but the number, the patina around the number . . . and according to the numbers issued/dates supplied by the gentlemen here . . . when did the USSR start issuing that particular type of document? When were the stock of 1967 docs exhausted? Those would be my next questions . . .

Re: October Revolution.
Thank you everyone, I thought the document looked too pristine?
The gentleman will only come down to $535 and I won't pay that. Thanks again.

Re: October Revolution.
Order of the October Revolution #105074, is an early 1990's issue and probably one of the last thousand or so awarded.
