It is quite unfortunate that Aleksandra and Ivan are such common names.

I also thought that they might have been one and the same person, but the OPW documents clearly indicate that these are two different people. Interesting though that both were born in 1922; sort of twins ;)

Narva happened to be their place of living. At some point, one of them moved there from the Saratov region, while the other one moved there from the Leningrad region. Nothing strange.

Thank you for your perspective, Marc, coincidences like this do occur, same first and middle name, year of birth, and so on. I am reminded of Occam's razor. Leave it to the archive to enable us to enrich these facts and enhance our understanding of things a little bit more.

By the time the archive is "complete" they may be considerably more options for people of either or both of these names. This is unfortunately an issue that can't be easily solved.

It may be the same person and not yet on "the site", it may be two different people and neither on "the site", it may be two people and one of them is on "the site", it maybe by two people and they line up with "the site" or it maybe be one person and it lines up with one on "the site".

Can't really say much more now without other documents to prove or disprove anything. A service book or some time (such as labour service) with one name replaced by the other would be magic right now. Specially if it gave date and place of birth.
