bought this belt at the weekend. Any information about the production date?

This is way shortened M1932 belt, manufactured after 1946, the same style is made till today of much lower quality leather and workmanship. The stamp with the production year was on the original clipped off tail.
The stamp on the tail looked somewhat like that:

My guess would be the end of 40-s manufacturing.
