I found this best Artillery accuracy badge amongst all the usual junk on offer...

Hi Nick,
yes it is a scare artillery badge. The badge was founded in 1936. It is for Excellent Artillery Shooting. Maybe it was given at the end of a training course in a military school. The are two variations of this badge (see picture). The badge was awarded till the 1950´s. But post war badges have a different backside and no serial number. regards Andreas P.S. Just bought a postwar version of this badge, circa 1946 - 1952, as mentioned previously in this thread. Sadly the enamel to the star is chipped.
