Christophe,
Yep good old E... What would be more interesting, made up or not, is can we identify all the foreign ribbons? Eddie.

Of course there are mistakes in the fruit salad, but, interestingly enough, Gorshkov has been awarded the liberation of Belgrad medal.

Eddie,
Identifying them should not be extremely difficult, except the fact that the pic is not very clear... But it would be far more interesting if we were sure it is a real bar fruit salad, and not a made up one. What are the Forum experts position on it ? Ch. Quote:

This Gorshkov uniform was sold for 1800 USD by a dealer in New York area which I have very good experience from since many many years back. What do you thin of it? It has this description:
SOVIET ADMIRAL OF THE FLEET GORSHKOV'S SUMMER DRESS UNIFORM *EXTREMELY RARE* This is without a doubt, one of our greatest finds. Admiral of the Fleet of the Soviet Union is the Naval equivalent of the Marshal of the Soviet Union. Admiral Gorshkov was the Minister of Defence of the USSR for nearly 30 years, and was known as the father of the modern Soviet Navy. He was the only Soviet Admiral to receive 7 Orders of Lenin, and they are the first seven ribbons displayed on his chest. He also was a Hero of the Soviet Union, and his wearer's copy of his Gold Star Medal is also included with the uniform. Very few uniforms of Admiral Gorshkov are in private hands, with several being in the Central Army Museum in Moscow, and the Naval Museum in St. Petersburg. It is in MINT CONDITION, and includes the Tunic, Pants, and Visor Cap. http://people.clarityconnect.com/web...fgorshkov3.jpg |

Guys,
Here is the Salat I posted and the one on Patriks pic side by side. Apart from the swopped Kutusow and Ushakov ribbons they seem identical. I think, and please correct me if I'm wrong that the Ushakov is ranked Higer than the Kutusow but lower than the Suworow. This would mean that neither are completely correct, both Ushakov Orders should be before the Kutusow. Eddie.
