Dear Friends,

Nice ID book of NKVD with uniform picture.
NKVD number 843
Dated at 1942

It came with the 15 years of NKVD badge, however badge has different number.
Could this still be the set, or do these numbers have to match?

Some photos of the badge.

Enamel especially within lower letters is exactly as it supposed to be- very dark blue. I also like the hallmarks.

Jani, unfortunately the document is a copy. The badge looks to be a copy as well. The serial number in the book is left blank so the fakers could enter one to match the badge. A flood of these came from post-Soviet republics about ten years ago.

I have one 60-Year badge which bears the Lenelmayer mint mark just like the 50-year aluminum badge. Without the mint mark, I coudn't say one way or another.

I do not see anything strange, except for the absence of Mint mark MMD, on the back of the first badge, however, for me, documents and badges are all ok.

The doc. seems ok, I am no expert on stamps, and I can't tell if the document was blank, and was added to the name.
