8 февраля 1945 года во время боев с группировкой противника в районе деревни Менденау гвардии красноармеец Кулина был послан совместно с красноармейцом Кадыровым в деревне Бронеу с задачей установить наличие противника в этой деревне. При везде в деревню противник открыл ружейно-пулеметный огонь; действуя смело и решительно завезали бой. В этом бою товарищ Кулина из личного автомата уничтожил до 12 вражеских солдат и двоих взял в плен.
Благодаря умелым действиям товарища Кулина было установлено, что в деревне Бронеу находится противник в численностью до 150 человек. Благодаря полученным точным данным эта группа была уничтожена или рассеяна.

26 апреля 1945 года на плацдарме болота урочище Рондов-Брух при контратаке превосходящего сил противника, решительностью и смелостью подпустил атакующего противника и из станкового пулемета в упор расстрелял 18 вражеских солдат, отразив контратаку противника руския жизнью по сильным огнем противника, выдвинул свой пулемет вперед и огнем своего пулемета подавил 2 вражеские огневые точки, чем обеспечил выстрое продвижение роты по занятию вторых траншей противника.

В боях за населенный пункт Фольвара 29 апреля 1945 года в трудных условиях под огнем первым ворвался в расположение противника и открыл гранатный бой, уничтожил 5 солдат противника и одного взял в плен – этим самым создал панику у противника. В боях за деревню Фольвара Кулина лично установил расположение огневых точек на чердаках домов после чего наша артиллерия уничтожила их.
