Curious oxydation on right arm. Still made of solid silver?

Were these ever silver? I thought it was only "white" medal.

I've never seen an order of the star made of silver. I have the type 1 and 2 in my collection and they are not made of silver.

I agree - I've never seen a silver one though I have seen patina.

Gents, as I had a doubt I checked some sources, and they all state nickel-silver alloy.
