Well, I would not classify it as an M1945, but its close enough; also, this is the type he did actully wear at the 1945 VP.

This is a parade uniform for Foreign Minister of the USSR V. Molotov; the rank was only used since March of 1945 and only ( i hate to use the word only any more since i messed up on Issakov) was used by Molotov.

There was the hole for his HSL ( i used a copy).

Many of these caps ( not that there are alot of them) ome through with the cap badge having been changed due to new regulations in 1946; this still has the original cap badge.

Here is a close up of his unique boards; I'd kill to take these off to keep! Like other diplomatic boards they are narrower and backed in bright red. DD

Close up ( little blurry) of his cuff.-DD

Molotov

Here is a ( i think touches up a bit) photo of Molotov in 1945. I have not been able to find any other shots of him wearing the uniform. DD

Excellent find!!

I bet the price ran into hundreds of thousands of dollars.

molotov

No! Not that bad at all; I know of a couple of Stalin uniforms that have sold and even they are not that high. Soviet stuff is just not as high nd as German, but we are getting there.

Well that does really surprise me Doug. Something like that, belonging to a historical figure I thought would have went for a lot more. Maybe in a few years you will regret not hanging onto it. It could have been a nice little retirement nest egg :banghead
