1960's Bulgarian Order Mother Heroine. This Order is made of 14K gold and was awarded to women having more than 9 children.
The star is made out of solid 14 karat gold and weighs about 20 grams.This star is of the first and earliest issues with a very special kind of hook and hanging mechanism.
So far there are just several pieces known to exist among collectors. Many of these stars have been destroyed throughout the years for the use of the gold content in them.

This is the second later type of issue with different hooking mechanism.
