Yes, they are copies

They look like originals.

Do you have them mounted to anything to give them depth, such as matte board, or are they simply cut and pasted from the color copier output? looks good!

Yes, I cut the collored copy and attach it to the matte board.
It makes the copy look "more original"

Also, making copy, I don't cut off the color of the original cover. It looks beter.

I'll have to try your way of displaying documents. It would work well with the way I display my Campaign medals and document. See attached pic.
