nobody should ever buy an award based on such pictures... you mist have a very close scan of every award. I don't like the enamel colour, the photo is a bit curious. Patina doesn't look normal to me, too "flat", as if it were chemical.

Uhem… erm… er… <flipping though the web> you’re right, of course. There is no Kutuzov.

Anyway, reading no Russian I was at a loss looking at the order book. But I did notice that the text which means “3rd class,” at least according to the auction this guy has up for the Order of Glory group, was in it. Then I went to McDaniel and looked up the orders that had a 3rd class. There are a few.

Then using the Mondvor web page I looked for the cyrilic text, then promptly miscounted the position on the English page (Kutuzov is the fifth down).

Суворова = Suvorov: the sixth down the list.

Duho! :o

Thanks for the correction! :thumbsup

At any rate, the Suvorov also post dates the type 2 Red Star by years. So my thought still stands, wondering how the Red Star with such a low sn ends up being after the Suvorov.

So dear experts Green light or Red light on this set.
Based on these pictures I can't say anything about the awards. The document looks OK to me.
