Synthetic Leather Folder.

Hi,

need some help. Found this Synthetic Leather Folder a few days ago on the flea market. It is made out of heavy cardboard with synthetic red leather and has a soviet state seal on the front.

I found this in a large pile of GDR / NVA-Army medal and award documents / party awards.

For what was the folder used. It is a german folder or a soviet one?

My thoughts are, it is made in the German Democratic Republik as to the same style and used materials of NVA-Folder and it was used to present soviet awards / medals / badges to NVA soldiers.
