Does any one know of which units the US gave citations to in the Red Army and Navy?

I'm looking for it right now and not finding any info. I really doubt these are those.

There's a list of units awarded the Presidential Unit Citation (blue ribbon in frame) and none are non-US Army.
There's not a list of units for the Meritorious Unit Commendation (red ribbon in frame) but that award seems to have been a sleeve patch until 1947 when US-USSR relations would have soured some.

This I've found only in the last 15 minutes so it may not be comprehensive.

Many American GIs of the period were sporting Soviet Guards badges, even in photos of general officers into the late 40's-early 50's. I'd bet these are US unit awardings.

Personally, no. From memory the 82nd Airborne Division photographic hall of former division commanders has at least 3-4 generals wearing them. I've also seen other pictures of field grade officers wearing them. I'm sure someone here like slava1class can provide.

I think I have seen a picture of Patton wearing it. He was awarded it, and those under his command seem to have believed they deserved it too.

BG Woolfley wearing a Guards badge. He was assigned to the 76th Infantry Division.
