Has that suspension have an applied pice holding the pin (rightmost bit) instead of the usual piece cut out and folded into position? If so I don't think I've ever noticed that variation before. Good excuse to take out my collection and look at them.

Eric, I don't think it's a separate piece. I think it is a trick of light and shadow. However, don't let me stop you from sorting through you medals.:)

You're right. I found three instances where that one part has machining marks on it that look like it's an applied piece. Now why they did that, aside from the obvious to make Eric look like a fool, is the question at hand. :confused:
I suspect Sparky is involved in this, somehow. :cool:
