stolen uniforms
I think it would be ok to post pics of the stolen uniforms; we can then all keep an eye out for them showing up on E or anyplace else.
Sorry to hear of your loss. DougD |

Thanks Doug.
This is the uniform. The Lenin-order is a copy (I keep the real one in a bank storage). They had also, more or less violently, ripped all awards away from another tunic. If anyone see this one on eBay or Tradera (swedish), notify me. |

I have been in touch with my insurance company, they said the loss will most likely be covered by my home insurance...at least so they say, I assume they will find a paragraph written in very small fonts that make them go free.

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
In spring 2004 a package containing a larger documented group, which I purchased from an antiques merchant in the US, dissappeared on it`s way from the US to Germany. I`ve made a research request and now (about 4 years later) it turned out that it had been stolen from a US package/ parcel center in the eastern states of the US. I`d like to ask you, if you`ve seen or heard of one of the following items or the whole group. If yes, please contact me. I`ve paid a real load of money for this group and of course I want to have it “backâ€. Please help me !
