Fake Restoration, Construction and Development Medals - Page 15

I'am considering this restoration of the southern industries. I am suspicious because the surface looks odd even if I wouldn't say it is cast.

What is your opinion on this medal?

It does have that "sandy" look of a cast medal. Of course, I have never had one of these in my hand, but most of the post-war medals I've seen have a more refined looking finish than this one does. The suspension ring is another thing that look unusual - even for the "U-shaped" design. Be suspicious (it's a healthy thing in our world), but I'm also not the final word on these types of medals.

Hi,

this is an old cast fake made in Poland in the 90s. I have seen many of them. The eyelet has been soldered to the medal (very precisely and hard to recognize; only a very thin, grey line and only visible under magnification), which is an absolute no - go for this variation. Leave it out.

I have found another medal for the reconstruction of the southern industries. Is this any better? The seller states it is 100% original... :confused:
The surface seems as much irregular as the previous medal I have posted; cast again?
