Maybe you can translate the text of the East German flag as followed:

For the protection, of the labour and peasants state.

Andreas,

Come to think of it, that translation makes a whole lot more sense! Sometimes speaking Dutch doesn't always help too much, despite our similarities in language!

Thanks

Really ? I'm not the #1 DDR collectors ( I only got a few item) but thats really seem to me a way too much for that kind of banner!!!

So I guess this banner will still be around at the next show! What would you have paid for it?

No rpoblem it was a pleasure.

Just to know, did you ever go at the Toronto show ? I never attend this one and I wonder if there's any soviet stuff over there. Because if its like in Montreal where there only a very few soviet and eastern europe dealer I don't think I will go over there!

I've never been, but I hear there's one in september or thereabouts near Pearson Airport. Apparently this show happens three times a year, and I'll let you know how it turns out.

The next one at the Etobicoke Olympium is September 12th, just the day after the one I will attend in Montreal.

You can always chek their website for events dates.
