Re: order of independence and freedom[china 1955]
It is a nice award. You can see the mixed influences Mongolia, the Soviet Union and China all had on each other clearly in this order.:thumbsup

Re: order of independence and freedom[china 1955]
Could you please tell us the awarding criteria for this award, for example, outstanding directing of combat operations, use of excellent strategies against the enemy, etc.?

Not QUITE fakes?
At the military museum in Beijing (photos when I can sort 'em out) you can purchase (once they find the key) a nicely cased set of replicas of the 1st class awards of the three 1955 orders. This will set you back a whopping RMB 98, rather less than what the originals would cost.
Since most of us will never see, much less have a chance to acquire these, I consider these fakes, replicas, toys, whatever, a nice thing to have. I doubt they'd fool any collector over the age of five, but in case they crop up on online-auction, here they are. (Now, as real things go, I did see a nice, documented and cased, group of all three orders -- 3rd class, 2nd class, 2nd class. :love Even if my wife hadn't been with me, NO WAY!) Re: Not QUITE fakes?
oh , i had told you: 1955 are expensive even in china. this fake is very bad if you had seen original, you can find this is a fake at once.
this fake's back have chinease word: this is a copy. so any chinease all know this is a fake. so you do not warry about any chinease china is a big country .but collector for medal's people are few. not many people, so most collector all have original 1955. (my mean is 3 class). I had put some original picture on here i think mybe you had seen them. do you back home now? i just back from beijing 2 days. if we meet at beijing i can help you . |
