A correction to Yolkin: (quote) " I have never seen an Order of October Revolution on any multi-suspentions. Keep in mind that this was one of the highest civilian awards! So naturally I would think that it would be worn separately (with pride!)"

I stand corrected!
Thanks Tal! That's the second time I see the October Revolution on multi-suspension. BTW should the Friendship of Peoples hanging in the end? Or should it hang before (?) Red Banner of Labor? Isn't it considered to be a higher award than Red Banner of Labor? Eric

Hi eric, having seen the few collection of vet photos, the order of preeminence of medals is always respected, when the grandpa can. I've a big close view of a general's chest with 30 medals, and october rev is in fisrt pos in front of three red banners. I constated that old vet tricked with rules when they hadn't any sufficient place or when it was too complicated to dismantle the huge ribbon bar to insert a new one. So the last civilian order like red banner of labor, friendship is hung alone.
